The same year Anushka Sharma appeared in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh where she played the role of a middle-class Punjabi girl who starts her own wedding-planning business. The film was an unexpected success and received good reviews. Anushka had completed the three film contract in partnership with Yash Raj Films.
